Many galgos, few homes

According to data collected by animal shelters and kennels, it is estimated that about 60,000 greyhounds are killed in Spain each year by their owners, or abandoned to their fate.

This is the result of breeding dogs with no administrative control, carried out by the 190,000 federal galgueros that exist in our country.

But while we strive constantly to change this situation, many abused dogs remain without a home.

Adopt a galgo

We get two or three animals arriving every day. The phone keeps ringing.

If you meet the conditions for keeping a greyhound as a pet, please contact us. Maybe you can adopt one and enjoy the wonderful character it has, whilst offering it a dignified retirement.

We recommend that you read the section I want to adopt to be fully informed of the commitment involved in adopting a previously abused animal.
